The “I’m-so-important” biography cliff notes:

• I grew up in Austin, Texas, or, as it’s pronounced in ‘Texan’ “Awesome, Texas”

• At the barely legal age of 18, I took a fortuitous backpacking trip to China with a vocabulary I could count on two hands. (If I had lost the ability to point, I wouldn’t have made it back alive.)

• Following the above mentioned trip, I re-routed my academic path, adding a B.A. in Chinese, to my previous B.S. in Business Management.

• I took a semester to study abroad in Beijing, at Peking University (a decidedly less fun program)

• Following graduation in 2012, I took a leap of faith, moved back to Beijing, China, and began a marketing job with a wholesale and custom manufacturing company, Original Source. [See Resume]
